When the pandemic hit the world, I was excited about the time to create paintings in my studio. An artist life is a solitary one. So, the lockdown came as a welcome change from the hectic daily life I was experiencing at that time. I love the process of creating so I was quite excited about the prospect of working in my home studio.
My creative space is truly my second home! Rather than being on such a timed schedule, I could immerse myself into my painting life. The news was so depressing in those days and the worry so great ! Covid ravaged our world! I honestly needed to paint positive, colorful paintings to lift my spirits high. I was so moved by the goodness of others coming out of the pandemic. The dedication of our medical community , the goodwill and the stories of patients and families fighting against the COVID turbulent tide. There was a sense of community everywhere! It seems that when challenged, humanity rises to the occasion.
Each day, I woke up in the morning and brainstormed new ideas. I was quite emotional during this time and these feelings served to
help me paint very soulfully. I was filled with gratitude each day for the gift of good health and the ability to paint. I was so moved by the kindness and generosity of humankind.
I created a painting called " Divine Waters" representing the overwhelming kindness of others creating a waterfall of blessings.
An abundance of goodwill poured over the planet.
Our better angels were bringing love and kindness to all!!
"Divine Waters" seem to explain it all! We all experienced at that time, what truly matters in life.
A time filled with great lessons and growth for mankind! Let's not forget the wisdom we learned!
